Traditional, Austrian cuisine largely produced from local and regional products.
Rich breakfast buffet with organic and healthy food, a selection of regional cheeses, tea bar as well as various egg dishes à la minute, prepared from 7:30 to 10:30.
Our smoking lounge next to the main entrance is available for smoke breaks.
In our parlour, you will find many culinary highlights for the small and large apetites. From 12:00 to 14:00, we serve various à la carte daily specials, as well as local delicacies (including vegetarian) and until 6:30 pm small dishes for in between meals (costs apply).
Every afternoon from 3.30 pm to 5 pm guests are invited to the cake buffet with sweet delicacies and little treats from the in-house patisserie.
Five-course gourmet evening menu with four different international and regional main dishes to choose from (including vegetarian and vegan) daily between 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm. Daily varied salad buffet and cheese selection, once a week a themed buffet with various specialties from Austrian and international cuisine, as well as dessert buffet. To accompany this, choose selected wines from the extensive house wine list.
We cater for food intolerances and allergies, all we ask for is timely notification at the reception.
To ensure the culinary enjoyment in the restaurant is unspoiled, all rooms are non-smoking.

From the ski cellar directly to the slopes
Ski passes from 3 days can be ordered directly at the reception. The electronic keycard for your contactless and comfortable access to the ski resort is available on loan for the entire stay.
Activity programme: Our in-house ski and Mental coach Hermann Koch (Ski school Koch) will be at your disposal every evening in the hotel for sporting information in and around Obertauern. The ski school Koch also offers support in other winter sports, e.g. Snow biking, cross-country skiing, off-piste ski tours, snowshoeing or Nordic walking in the snow.

Guided Tauernrunde with a qualified ski instructor including a refreshing break (on Sundays).

Cancellation terms

Room cancellation only valid in written.

Special regulation of our cancellation conditions due to the Covid-19 pandemic:
So that you can look forward to your vacation without worries, our cancellation guidelines have been adapted to the current situation until further notice.
Should the Covid-19 pandemic lead to local or personal travel restrictions or travel warnings, a short-term free cancealltion is possible up to 48 hours before arrival. These include travel warnings for Austria or Obertauern, entry ban, declaration of risk area (upright warning 48 hours before arrival), official quarantine obligation for return travelers, official quarantine as a contact person. The above mentioned Covid-19 special regulations are valid if one of the mentioned points is valid 48 hours before your planned arrival.

Otherwise, the following eased cancellation guidelines apply:

until 2 months before arrival free of charge | until 1 month before arrival 40% of total
until 1 week before arrival 70% of total | within the last week preceding arrival 90% of total

Travel cancelation insurance

Safe on vacation! More than ever, we recommend to take out the Hotel Cancellation Premium Insurance from European Travel Insurance, so that you don't have to worry about anything on vacation. New! If you only consume the breakfast, we remunerate € 14,00
We accept debit card, Eurocard/ Mastercard, Visa and American Express credit cards.
Your rooms are available on the day of arrival from 3.00 p.m. Unfortunately we can't reserve a certain room or floor number. (We will do our best to comply with your request if possible.)
Additional costs when using a double room as single room: € 40,00
At a stay up to 3 days an additional fee of 10% will be charged.
For dogs we charge a cleaning fee of € 22,00 per day. (possible in our juniorsuites)
At an early departure or late arrival the room price will be charged.
Otherwise, the provisions of the Austrian Hotel Regulations apply.
